Nylon: It’s a man-made fiber that’s stretchy and tough. It’s often mixed with spandex to make shorts, leggings, and fitness clothing that can stretch a lot.
Spandex (E.g.: Lycra®): Spandex is a stretchy fiber that can really go the distance. Lycra® is a spandex brand famous for its bouncy, stretching up to 500% and then snapping back into place. But now the production technology of spandex is becoming more and more mature, and many brands of spandex can compete with Lycra at a more reasonable cost.

Jacquard Fabric: Some yoga pants might use this fancy fabric with special patterns or textures. It’s usually made from man-made fibers and is stretchy and shapely.
